On Sunday 6 June 2010, Herman and myself entertained SamsPaul from Pretoria to a fishing trip off the Gordons Bay Mountains. Besides Paul being appointed the newest member of the ESA fresh water television presenters, he can fish, gooi a sinker and slide.
The weather was hectic, but we had great fun. Only one fish came out a 4.6kg seven stripped catshark which I landed.
Fist pic of Paul and Herman getting ready for the long trip down trhe mountain.

The day was started on a bad note. On his first cast with a normal throw bait, Herman broke his new Gremlins custom made rod. Eish it was a bad sight.

Paul - nice to have you here in the Cape for some fishing. A pity the fish didn't play along.
Herman - sorry about that rod, it is a big loss

I had a great ime, the company defintely made up for the lack of fish, thats why they call it fishing anyway, otherwise there would be no fun in the 'wait 'thank you Martin for making the effort and to Herman too, next time Im down here Ill be hunting some serious fish off the beach.... no more rocks Martin lol
But seriously, I am really glad to have met up with all the guys from the site, either over the internet or in person, I now have even more incentive to come back and spend proper time fishing....
