So it was decided by Riyaad, we go out to his other spot last night. I was a bit undecided in the beginning. Eventually I said what the hell. With almost no bait(ek likes my prawns) I decide I will go.

Riyaad said he had a Guest Angler who will join in last night , he goes by the name of Sailfish.

Anyway I call Riyaad to find out if he is there already, he says just pulled up 15mins ago. I get there @ 20h30, I checked my fishingreminder website and the major time was 20h30 to 22h30.

Get there the parking is full of bakkies and cars. Looks like day, there was more than 1 guest angler, Shaheed Taliep graced us with his presence.

So it was Riyaad, Haroun,Yaseen, Rory, Shaheed,Sailfish and a few other guys and myself. I setup next to Shaheed and I reckon ons gan nou hulle gate slat LOL.1st cast with Wonderworm. A small barbell and I get tangled into Shaheed. I cast again but shallower and go to Riyaad and Co. Shaheed flashed his light, jou stok. I say daai ding moet sak man. I pick up I feel something, but it’s just heavy weight. I tell him this is a Barbel. Out comes a stump measures 29cm. 1st fish on wonderworm cos I told Shaheed I never caught a fish on Wonderworm. Throw again same bait. 2mins and the rod bounces again. Pick up feels better no real fight but he holds me there. I land a DAS 36cm , fished with 1\0 Circle and he swallowed the hook to his gills. After that it was quite

Myself and Shaheed left @ 00h00. Rory left before that. I don’t know if anything else was caught after we left. Riyaad has to confirm. The pressure was stable which was not ideal. I could only see the pressure when I got home. Sunday was the same where the pressure was stable and only 1 0r 2 fish was landed.

Good catch, I get the feeling that you are waiting for the steenies to come in. Where were you fishing?

I will try for them tommorrow.
