bigfish: At last some fish on the species list are making an appearance on the KZN coast, the diamonds are here in full force, hopefully I will be able to submit a return soon. Charlie Rosevier from my club caught this massive 253kg Zambezi (238cm) last week on a 55kg diamond swim bait.

Definately a KP reel

No Drag, No gears, 1:1 retrieve

Pure skill with the most basic of reels.. I take my hat off!

Nice fish. Hope it is still on the beach or I am definetly not wading in Natal. Martin our nationals is there in November 2010 you are more than welcome to tag along. Ask the angler about coming over and how many tips they loosa on KP reels. The reels take a lot of braid and the clutch is a leather strip, old school but fun. I will stick to my TN50.

Again stunning fish, words can not describe.
