Raptor - nice to see you back on site again.

Would love to be there but i think my grandchildren coming to visit is a wee bit more important

We also almost fully booked with charters and holiday rentals, so Easter is a busy holiday for me.

Good luck fishing the comp - holding thumbs

Hi Guys

Just a quick update on our comp this weekend.

We had 141 entires for the comp. 44 anglers for Off Shore, 78 on the river and the rest was for rock and surf and flyfishing.

Offshore was won by a Witsand local with a musselcracker of 9kgs. 2nd prize was one by one of the struisbaai locals (Pannie) onboard Thrasher with a 5.5kg cob. The cob was scares at sea with only 2 comming out. Most giys filled the bag limits with romans/santer/ Miss Lucy`s. So it was maar slow on the fishing front at sea.

On the river some very nice grunter came out - the winning grinter was 6.5kgs - i think.

We had prizes sponsored of more than R20 000 - thanks to the sponsors.
i will post some pics of the fish and winners later.

Cheers

Raptor thanks for the report, we were on the Infanta side and had plenty action with small steenies, a few stumpies and one huge zebra. The river was hectic with boats, but the area stays a brilliant spot.
