It has been a horrible few weeks for everyone in the Overberg and Cape Town, but it seems that even the Eastern Cape, Gauteng and Natal got hit by winds and rain and thunder storms. At least the predictions for this coming weekend is looking good and we are all holding thumbs that the wind will die down, the sea will go flat and we will be able to get on or next to the water.
The great news is that our community has been growing at a very healthy rate. We started the year on 614 anglers and to date we are on 1083, and if the trend continues we might just double up this year again. A hearty big welcome to all the new anglers that have joined us over the past few months, and we all hope that you will become not only better anglers, but also become a big part of our great community.
